DESCRIPTION:
A Cubs fanatic like yourself might have this game fresh in your mind. It was May 2008 and yet another beautiful sunny day at Wrigley as the Cubs faced the Rockies. With the wind blowing out Colorado took an 8-0 lead into the fifth which then became 9-1 in the top of sixth. Fukudome slammed a two-run homer which was then followed by a Jim Edmonds homer to cut the lead to 9-4. In the seventh Henry Blanco homered two more in and then Edmonds struck again with a two-run double to cut the lead to one. On a 3-2 pitch fan favorite Mark DeRosa sent a ball into the left field bleachers and the Wrigley crowd erupted as the Cubs took a 10-9 lead. Carlos Marmol and Kerry Wood shut down Colorado the next two innings and the Cubs had one of their biggest comebacks in franchise history. It goes to show that the Cubs never give up until that last out and you should never give up as a fan no matter how bad it gets or no matter how many years it's been. You can teach your little Cubs fanatic a life lesson when you buy him this Back Off tee by adidas. Featuring "Cubs Baseball" printed on the front on a crossed-bat background with a team logo and establishment date this tee will make sure your little North Sider will be wearing Cubbie blue for the rest of his life.
